Mobile Broadband Data Card
Mobile broadband data cards use the express (for most recent laptops) or PC Card (for older laptops) expansion cards available in nearly all Microsoft laptops - not in Macs. They tend to be favoured by IT departments in larger companies as they can be controlled more strictly than USB modems or USB sticks. They are not plug and play, and only available on business mobile broadband contracts, and so we do not recommend them for most users.
